4x2GB 1600 or 2x4GB 1333 for overclocking SB

I have 12GB (6x2GB) of G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-1600 sitting around that I was planning to use (8GB) on a new SB (2500k) setup. However, I see that Super Talent is again on sale and for ~$60 I can get 2x4GB DDR3 1333. I know there is some difference in overclocking with all 4 slots filled vs 2 slots on the previous gen chips but I don't know if that has changed with SB and it's multiplier only overclocking.

Can anyone comment on this? Should I stick with the ripjaws and be confident my OC should not suffer too much or do I need to go with the ST to leave 2 slots unpopulated?

Thanks!

The chances of having issues with 2x4gb or 4x2gb are both about equally likely. 2x2gb is the safest. I think good sales such as that one will continue to be available first, so you should try what you have before you buy.

If you don't touch the BCLK, it shouldn't matter .. right?

I didn't think so which is why I was asking. In the past with all 4 slots populated the ram would have issues running faster and you often had to increase the voltage a hair. In this case with just the multiplier being changed I was thinking all 4 slots being populated should not matter since I will run them at 1600.

I would like to know about this too since I plan to start off with 8GB in my new build. I'm leaning towards 2x4GB since it would be easy to add another pair later on for 16GB total.
