4x DVD-R........ what brand?

I usually get the purple generic ones with the silver top. I would like to get some non-generic ones with a thick top that you can write on. I know you can write on the generic silver topped ones, but I just like the non-generic ones better.

Also, what ever happened to those new TDK Armor Plated DVDs? I heard they were coming out with them, but I can't find them anywhere.

i use ritek purple silvers

and they work fine for me and write on them as well i dont know any other brand that works well at 4x

i have some 2x TDK's but that is way too slow for me

I've never had a coaster with 4x Ritek. Gone through probably 50-60 so far. The've played great on every DVD player I've tried too.
