4x agp or 8x

Wondering if when I get a geforce FX card if I should spend the money around 100$ and get 8x agp or just use my 4x agp now. Is it really going to make a big diff if I dont get 8x agp?
 
8x AGP is a new low in the Computer Marketing Industry. Our current video cards dont need a massive 2.1gb/s data transfer rate! We dont even have anything above 256MBs on our current video cards! Unless of course the GeForce FX would change that.... To keep it short, AGP 8x is just a marketing scam.
