4TB Drive Showing As 1.68TB

I bought a 4TB internal SATA hdd. The hdd is GPT partition style. I originally initialized the drive using MBR. I feel like that is my problem even though its been converted to GPT.

I am using Windows 7 x64 and the hdd shows 1.68TB in windows.

I've searched the site and I've Googled until my fingers are sore with no luck.

It looks like the EP45-UD3R motherboard doesn't work with anything over 2TB. I looked on their site for 3TB support and they have updates for some newer chipsets but looks like I'm SOL on the p45 chipset. I'm in the process of a new computer build anyways. This thread will be here for anyone else that searches about the problem. I didn't know anything about EFI so I know to look for that in my new board.
