4ns on Ti4200 64MB?

I thought the 64MB version of the GF4 Ti4200 cards are manufactured with faster RAM. But over on newegg's site it shows the Ti4200 with 4ns RAM on the 64MB version. 4ns same as the 128MB version, but I knew the 128MB was slower...so i am confused.

May someone please clarify for me?

the 128mb version is supposed to come with 4.5ns. However, manufacturer are free to ship it with many memory they want.

My little brother just got his Ti4200 (64MB), and the RAM is 3.8ns.

The DRAM on the 128MB Ti4200's is clocked slower then that on the 64MB revisions, but that doesnt mean the manufacturers must use slower rated DRAM.
In theory 4ns DDR SDRAM can run at 250/500MHz DDR.... but there are never any guarantees except those applied direct from the board manufacturer. With the 64MB revision it comes stock from the factory clocked at 250/500MHz DDR, and your guaranteed it will run at that frequency.
The 128MB revision however only comes stock clocked at 222/444MHz DDR, and there are no guarantes it will clock any higher.

In theory, the 4ns 128MB boards should be able to clock to 250/500MHz DDR on the memory, but you've got no guarantee like you do with the 64MB revision, and overclocking is always a risk.
