its over at compgeeks here's the link tv tuner this is great for a dual monitor setup, and you can capture video too. Only problem is, will it work with XP?

Note, it says "NOT Compatible with any Operating System Other Than Windows 95/98/ME" at the bottom of the page, so beware, unless you find some drivers somewhere for win 2000 and xp.

If you want to, ask Compgeeks to see if the card has a bt8x8 or bt8x9 chip. Then it might work with Dscaler.com.

Remember, Dscaler is an XP compatible software and it doesn't need software drivers for supported tuners. Dscaler is great for watching TV, plus other video sources.

Good luck and have fun.

<< from a google search:
Compgeeks says its Cirrus Logic CL-GD5480-QC-A Chipset

Sgi has NT drivers on their site. Would these work for the tv tuner?

Quantex has NT drivers also:

The Cirrus Logic chipset is the VGA controller. The bt8x8 or bt8x9 chipset if for video capturing. Then there's the TV tuner itself (that bulky box on the card). So the drivers you find for the Cirrus Logic chipset is for the VGA side of the card.

Excuse my terminologies. I don't think they're correct, but you know what i meant 🙂

Well, I went ahead and bought one...I figured what the heck...I'm using XP but I can move it to a win98 box if it comes to that...so we'll see what it has when I get it...
