4LTE is the real deal

I just thought I'd throw out some numbers for Verizon's new LTE service. I've had the opportunity to use both the LG and the Pantech modems. So far, the Pantech is giving better numbers. I'm averaging 10.3mb with it. The LG is only giving 6.9. I know this whole technology is brand new, so my numbers may not represent everyone. My location is just outside Nashville, TN.
 
How are the ping times? AT&T 3G is fine for me as far as the speeds go, but those 500ms ping times are killer.
