Hello,
I stumbled upon the invention of Jan Sloot and I was doubtful in the beginning because it does not make any sense from 4kB to watch a full HD clip.
Then I found out that this thing really does exist.
So I searched for video samples and found this out http://jansloot.telcomsoft.nl/Index.html
I took the risk of downloading the video because it might have been a virus or fake and after waiting for a while after double-clicking it, it works.
Anyone can prove or has ever heard of such invention?
There are other videos there.
This seems amazing to me.

what is refereed to "4kb" video demos are real time 3d animations. It is not a codec for video streams. Through a combination of compression and real time generated geometry (also known as procedurally generated) and procedurally generated textures (Texture patterns that are created in memory at high resolutions by using a mathematical equations.) scenes and even worlds can be created in such a tiny program. It is no small feat mind you, much like the pc demo scene of the past it is filled with programmers looking for ways to flex their brains muscle, and this is one of the ways they have done so.

It seems unlikely, but unlike the Starlite guy he apparently had a deal in place to sell his code to Phillips but then he died. 4kb just seems unlikely when you think how big that is.

Ahhh... so this is THAT old vaporware. I remember hearing about this back in the days of dialup where someone was claiming full quality video over 28.8k .

Obviously bullshiat.
