Is the time right to upgrade to a 4k computer monitor with 144mhz refresh rate or not yet ?

Currently have 2k resolution.

Nothing new has really coming out lately so I would wait until next year. Otherwise, there are the LG OLED screens, a few VA panel options with decent HDR and then a few IPS options with 400/600 HDR.

It's pretty much guaranteed that LG is releasing a 43" OLED next year and prices will come down in general.

No, if you can't use the pixels you already have to adequately express your needs and budget, more pixels won't help. ;)

That kind of depends of your hardware and usage.

Why would you like to upgrade?
