honestly, it's pretty sweet. That should help the 4K industry, considering that's what some theaters are starting to display, so take full advantage of that native res and the picture experienced at those theaters is going to be :shocked:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
however, it's meaningless in the home-theater market. Bandwidth cannot handle it, display tech isn't close... especially when considering cost of anything coming. And physical media sure ain't close, well some new techs are but cost is another issue altogether at this point.

the way I see it is that it makes for a great starting point. Basically, having a system that can handle post production will mean that you have 1 less thing limiting your creativity (rez, crop-able area)
