This is currently my favorite projector:

3. 4K pixel-shifting 2,200-lumen LED projector (throw distance calculator)
4. Unlike most projectors where you have to put it directly in the middle of the room, you can put this on the left or right side & it will auto-adjust the screen, which is a really unique feature!
5. I use it outdoors with a 135" fold-up screen (they also make larger inflatable screens)
6. You do need a dark room, as projectors are essentially flashlights. I have some cheap blackout curtains from Target.
7. Sound isn't bad, but you can get some really amazing soundbars with wireless subwoofers for a decent price these days.
