4in1 with 8k7a Why?

Why do I need to install these 4in1 drivers? I have my 8k7a, it's running WinME very stable. I don't have any problems. What do those 4in1 drivers do?

For starters, your 8K7A uses a VIA southbrdige, and the southbridge controls a few vital components, like the IDE ports, PCI bus, and USB. The southbridge does not control the AGP bus, that is the job of the northbridge. So you'll three parts of the 4in1 driver, they are the IDE busmaster, INF, and IRQ(the forth is AGP which you SHOULD NOT install). For more info on the 4in1 drivers, visit the FAQ page. Also, do not forget to install AMD's AGP driver.

LXi is right about the Via AGP driver in the 4 in 1 drivers,do not install it,you will use the AMD AGP mini -port driver instead from AMD`s site,anyway in general they fix bugs and get the best performance out of your OS.

Simple. More speed and better stability. Ain't this enough?
