4GB Sticks of DDR3?

I'm looking at the new Core i7's + LGA1366 mobos and they look sweet. One of the main benefits for me would be the ability to support 24GB of RAM (I use a lot of ram for various database things).

Problem is, when I look at DDR3 RAM on newegg, there's no 4GB sticks -- at all! As the motherboards seemingly have 6 slots, in order to achieve 24GB you'd need 6x4GB.

Does any manufacturer make 4GB sticks of DDR3? If so, whom? Or does anyone know any public plans as to the release of 4GB sticks of DDR3?

This is probably the single thing holding me back from upgrading to i7. 🙁

So you think even with i7 out, and the boards supporting 24GB of RAM, we won't see 4GB sticks anytime soon? Mega uncool :-(

I wish since they are using triple channel now they'd make 3 GB sticks. 9 Gigs would be a good in between.
