4GB kits - OCZ or Corsair?

Just wondering if theres any reason to be picky between the two, or any other brands for that matters. Been kinda out of the components world for a while.

Looking to get 4gb of memory since it seems to cheap, ill probably wait till black friday but, which memory would you get out of these two. Both are around $20-$25 AR.

OCZ OCZ2N800SR4GK

or

Corsair

Better choice for support, warranty, or whatever?

Ya im just kinda going through the various rebate deals and seeing whats best.

Thx ill keep that in mind. I dunno, I never really been partial to mushkin stuff, they always seem to have run very hot in the past. Thats not to say mushkin is bad or anything though.

Thats why its tough to decide, so many decent deals right now, and you dont know what will run better with your mobo, or what will oc better etc.

Hot in the past is a pretty vague thing, like AMD was hot in the past, as was Intel, yet that's not stopping you from buying them...

The two you linked to as well as the Mushkin, & actually the majority of the 2x2 GB out there in that range use Powerchips, which don't need high vDIMM & don't run hot.

I know memory is ridicuously cheap now, thats why I figured with black friday and christmas around the corner, its a perfect time to update my box. I mean damn, a year ago I just paid around $100 for 2gb of DDR2, and now its like $25(AR) for 4gb. Crazy.

Just get the Corsair. Between work and home i'm running 10GB of XMS2 and wouldn't hesitate to put it in another box or recommend it to someone.

I personally owned both would go with Corsair. Especially for $15AR. hands down. It's excellent runs fine for me CL5 DDR800 at 1.8v.
