4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 does not have a speedstep option for CPU

4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 does not have a speedstep option for CPU. I found that odd. Anyone figure out if it can be switched on? It does not show up in the Bios. I was just very surprised and wonder if I am missing something.

Dear Sir,

The VIA PT880 Pro/Ultra can not support Intel Speedstephttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SpeedStep .
It is chipset limitation.
So, we remove the Speedstep support from the latest BIOS 2.40.
