cool. probably gonna get one of these as a christmas gift for my uncle...

These would be a good a gift for christmas. They work well if you will be somewhat close to the receiver and are mostly sitting down. Other than that, they will have bad reception.

I couldn't find any indication that these are in stereo. Anyone else? Are they MONO?

i bought a 19.99 pair from radio shack a few months ago for my parents. those were IR based though. these are radio frequency.

anyway, that $20 pair works great, so i'd imagine these are at least decent.
