GPU-Z is reporting my fan speed as 653,371 RPM.

If the fan has a 6cm diameter, the tip is travelling at around 460 miles per hour.

If true, it should sound higher-pitched than the first sound here.

My cats avoid the computer room ... maybe because of the fan sounds - there are at least 64 fans of different sizes rotating.

(16 comps with one PSU-fan, one CPU-fan, one - two case fans and 8 comps with GPU-fans)

How about cat hair inside the cases?
It is a problem in our household - cleaning the comps once every two - three months is mandatory for reasonable temps.
