4870 512mb apb(all points bulletin) problem

Im really laggy playing this game called ALL POINTS BULLETIN , APB

Im currently running APB on the lowest resolution, lowest quality, and yet im still lagging? please help me out

What does your CPU usage look like when APB is running?

And when you say "lagging," I really hope you're referring to framerate issues and not actual lag.

APB is (was?) a poorly optimized game to begin with, scales like garbage, and coupled with an aging card like a 4870 and dual core CPU is just going to make it worse.

I played the late beta on an i7-920/6GB/5870 and it was awful even on the lowest settings. I don't think it went over 35 FPS with everything on low.

Well, i unlocked my dual core to actually be a quad core, FYI. And im lagging as in a framerate issue.
