4850x2 To Big?

After much deliberation I decided on going for the 4850 x2 but now I am a little worried that it won't fit into my case I have a mid-atx coolermaster centurion 5. As of now my 8800gt comes near my hard drives but I heard the 4850x2 was 11.5 inches long. Anyone have experience with this card or case?

Thanks,
Arthur

I can't remember where but one of the reviews I read had the exact length. It was a little longer than an HD 4780 X2. You might want to Google a few and see if you can find that one and then measure your case from hard driver cage to bracket.

dont fret about it.Just move your drives to where they are not in the way. Then you can just cut out the hard drive cage so the card fits.

Well I was thinking about doing that anyway. The only reason I haven't done so yet is because I have a 120mm fan in the 5.25 bay but I guess i could just replace the 80mm in the front with it and heck probably get better hdd temps.

One thing boggles my mind here...how is it that the 4850x2 ended up longer than the 4870x2 which is a more powerful card?
