So i installed the latest client and in CF mode the thing did not even start...

I disabled CF and it ran and i got 919!!!

So, my new 4850 gets around 900 iter/sec while my friend's GTX260 gets around 2600 iter/sec... This is total BS!!!

My 4850 is suppose to be a 1 FLOP card and his GTX260 is not??

On a different note can i get the video converter software for my 4850 from somewhere like that dababoom for the GTX 260?????

Need a few more exclamation points and question marks before I can fully understand what you're trying to say.

Sorry for the exxtream use of exclamation points but you see i am stumped. A 4850 with 800SP's and 1 TFLOP being mutilated by a 192SP and some FLOPs GTX260.

Can you see the pain in this...!!

Does your card give more fps for twice as less?

A new version of 4800 F@H client is in making. Currently it does not utilizes all the sp's.

the new folding gpu client for nvidia cards utilize CUDA, which is why its so fast. With my 8800gt using older drivers (no CUDA support) i was getting 400-500, but when I installed the new driver which enables CUDA support it jumped up to 2400 iter/sec

PhysX cards dont use CUDA, Nvidia uses CUDA to emulate a PhysX effect by use of SP's ohh i mean PU's

The 4850 is seen as something like a 3870, with I believe only 320 of the shaders operate. Like said earlier, they are making a client that uses all 800 shaders.
