4850 8.7 driver installed but HORRIBLE framerate in FEAR???

I had the 8.7 driver installed few days ago. Tried FEAR but noticed something was off. Checked the performance and my FPS was avging 24 under all maximum setting.
Rolled back o 8.5 and my avg was back to norm, which is 76.

so what is going on?

Make sure you properly uninstall previous drivers before installing new ones.

i just upgraded the driver without uninstalling 8.5.

does it make your frame rate drop by 2/3?

yes, uninstall driver, your lucky you are even able to see games.
