Because there is no such thing as a free lunch and if you accept it you give up power in some way.

The book has proved to be so popular that it has spawned several sequels, one recently co-authored by the popular rapper 50 Cent, called "The 50th Law."

Who wants to bet that said 50th law has something to do with the acceptability of having a multitude of problems but not allowing a 'bitch' to be one.

I know this will go completely over your head, but there is such a thing as a free lunch and you just have to manipulate people in such a way that you do not then owe anything. The point of this law is that you just can't openly accept something without realizing there could be consequence and that there is probably some sort of catch. If you want real power you have to navigate around that.

I'll make 1 law, stolen from the Bible:
Serve well and do good

It's that simple. Serving others well, in whatever field or position you are in, is how you get ahead. If you sacrifice morality in order to jump ahead, you won't last long and your fall will be hard. And you lose your soul (figuratively speaking) in the process.

The greatest men and women of all time are the ones who learned to serve others well.

Heh, totally agree. That's what I was trying to say but you said it much better.

You are assuming you are smarter than the person offering something free.

Hmm. There should be a law that says if you think you're smarter than everyone else you're fucked.
