$479.00 Intel E6600 with Gigabyte GA965PDS3 Motherboard

That motherboard usually goes for $150, so that places the E6600 at $329. Not bad, but the Gigabyte motherboards are far from perfect.

right now, with such a small selection of boards, it seems like the most popular choice.

Have you used it? DS3 Is a KICK ASS BOARD. have my e6300 at 490FSB.

Considering what most E6600s are selling for right now it's a very decent deal! If I didn't already have mine I'd jump on this.

Now that Gigabyte has fixed the BIOS issues on the DS3, it's one of the best OCers you can buy. I can run a 486FSB stable, tried 501FSB for kicks and it only needed more vcore for both cores of my E6300 to get stable. Look at my sig. 😉 I'm holding off until I eventually nab watercooling to go higher on the FSB. MCH and FSB voltages were left at STOCK. I want to see an ASUS try that... 😉

I know how well the DS3 overclocks, but it doesn't change that the folks over at XtremeSystems consider the board very flaky. I'll stick with my P5B-Deluxe :\
