478-pin P4 MB's /w Northwood P4's..

This is one piece of information I haven't received a straight and clear answer to so far..

Will most, if not all, of today's 478-pin P4 MB's, currently running Williamette P4's, support the Northwood P4's..? Will it just be a matter of a BIOS update..? I just want to make sure I don't buy a dead-end MB seeing as the Northwood core is just around the corner..

Thanks.

If you look at the bottom of this page (Asus P4t-E), it claims that it sppts Northwood .. but .. you can't be certain until someone actually does it.

I assumed that a BIOS update would be at least required, if anything.. However, I was thinking more along the lines of "hardware compatibility"..
