I have an HP Z400 Workstation with a 475W PSU and a W3680 CPU. I can overclock it with software when needed.

Right now, I am using a 1650Ti in there, but I want something with a little more kick IF possible.

That PSU is a huge limitation off course, given it only has a 6 pin connector and a low wattage, but I wonder if I have better options.

I game at 1080p so no need to worry about higher resolutions.

Do you have TWO 6-pin PCI-E connectors? If so, then you have more options. I would almost recommend an RX 5700XT (Asus Dual model, 2-fan, 8-pin plus 6-pin power), and use a 6-pin to 8-pin adapter for one of them, IFF you have TWO 6-pin PCI-E, and your PSU is really 475W.

Barring that, get a GTX 1660 Super or something.

BTW, there is no such thing as a GTX 1650 Ti on desktop, AFAIK. Those were only for mobile. So guessing that you have a GTX 1650 Super instead? Or do you already have a GTX 1660 Ti? If so, there's not much place to go, except the RX 5700XT (avoid the dual-8-pin models, IMHO).

Edit: Or wait for Dec. 2-3, for the RTX 3060 Ti card, don't know if that will be one 8-pin or what, should be interesting.
