You guys complaining that you're paying all the taxes are free to make less money so you don't have too.

And people that complain about the cost of insurance are free to stop using healthcare services so they don't have to pay so much.

The funny thing is that the Dems want to make that illegal. or pay a $3900 fine or somewhere close to that. Wow how American! Fining people who do not have healthcare!

Probably the 3rd time i've posted this

*Is a brain dead conservative*
*believes states shouldn't make car insurance mandatory*
*uninsured motorists get into accidents*
*premiums rise for all insured motorists*

b-b-b-but freedom!!!!

*doesn't know a damn thing about economics*

I can choose not to own a car.

Besides, I thought most people here think the insurance companies are flat out evil. Why would you want to give them a huge increase of power over consumers. You wouldn't even be able to tell them to get bent if you don't like the service. If they are in fact evil, why wouldn't they capitalize on that?

OT: Do any of the bills mandate that insurance companies that sell a specific product in a state must offer that product to everyone in the state (that qualifies for the specific plan) or is it gonna be the same old extremely limited choice employment tied system we now have?

I suspect the Stat exposes something that many have not considered. That is that there is a large segment of the US Population that has slipped in Income over the years as Wealth has been steadily flowing to the Top Income brackets. The Lower and Middle Classes have had relatively Stagnant Incomes, add in Inflation and their Incomes have been shrinking. Other Stats, such as Per Capita Income don't show the trend, because the Bill Gates and other Upper Bracket persons skew the numbers upwards.

So it's not so much the Wealthy Paying the Burden as much as it's the Wealthy getting a far larger slice of the Pie.
