46 1/3MHz PCI bus and 93 1/3MHz AGP bus safe?

On an older computer I got some PC133 for it with a P3 667EB and Abit BE6-2. It's running at 140MHz FSB stable, but im concerned about the PCI cards at 46 1/3MHz. There are no dividers on the BE6-2, so is this speed safe? I don't want anything to burn out, just for an extra 33Mhz. The 93 1/3Mhz AGP bus should be fine in my opinion, because I have run it at 100Mhz with an older Celeron. thanks

140fsb on any recent BX is 35 (1/4 kicks in automatically). Hard drives don't tolerate anything in the 40s well.

Ok, I can lower it back down to 667Mhz. Let me see if I did the math in my head right though..

140 x 1/3=46 1/3? Lemme whip out Mr.Calculator..

Ok, Mr. Calculator says 46 1/3. I have my BE6-2 set to 1/4 PCI multiplier, so this is safe, or no?

TIA! :)

If it's set at 1/4, it's 35MHz, which is no problem. Like Tonec said though, on any newer BX board 1/4 will kick in automatically when you go over 133MHz FSB.

my sound card gets staticy above 40mhz, and I get minor data loss every time I boot (it adds up). So I stay at 33.

Data loss? Ahh fvck, thats why CS, UT and Q3 are jacked up. I was going to reinstall them when I got around to it..they give me errors. CS says my map is different from the servers, UT won't load, and Q3 says I need to get the latest patch..lol
