Oh, and oopsie :

Seems like the nannies on the MP4 need serious work. If someone can fling about a time of 7:22 with the Viper ACR in only three tries, but yet the MP4 gets flung off the track by its own computer system, something bad is happening.

‘The MP4-12C involved in the incident wasn’t even a production spec car’

They are currently working on a GP3 spec car... which wouldn't have had the electronic nannies...

Of course it could just be that they were racing a pre-production car for fun...?

The 458 is simply the best exotic one can buy today. Done.

Only the Aventador and perhaps the Porsche 911 Turbo S are in the #2 spot for me.

Ironically enough the F1 (which was designed 20 years ago) still looks modern by today's standards.

Yeah I agree, the F1 is a thing of true beauty, it's timeless, like the original GT40, and imho the F458 is also worthy of that status for now, though we'll have to see how it looks in ten or twenty years. I think it'll hold up nicely. The MP4-12c (ugh that name too), you could have told me it was a new SSC car and I'd believe you, it doesn't seem to have any of its own 'soul' connecting it to any heritage at all.
