450W for a 324W system

I am looking at a different system type now. Now it's ITX and intel/nvidia.

Ok.

I still would go with a 550w for this system. There's really no reason to save a few dollars when the manufacturer calls for a 550w PSU for the GPU. Furthermore the 550w version of the Cosair PSU is less expensive than the 450w version, so it really makes zero sense on going with the smaller version anyways right now.

Where's the 550W psu for cheaper? This is a node 202 HTPC build. The $85 for the 450w is the cheapest you can get. The 500w silverstone is 95w. It jumps from 500 to 600w and it costs at least $110 for the 600w.
Wouldn't the 500w do fine?

It was available from Amazon when I looked, but it is gone now. Not sure if it a goof up on their part or what.

500w would be better than the 450w for sure. Your load while pushing the PC would be around 70% of the capacity, which should be ok outside of the PSU fan running at a higher RPM to counter the heat/load.
