would a gtx 760 and 3570k run on a 450W psu? specifically this one? it's 80 plus gold and needs to be that size. Also, would I be able to run a 3570k @ 4.6 ghz and overclock the gtx 760 as well? if there is a higher wattage full modular sfx psu that is decent please tell me

I expect it would be enough, my sig doesn't go above 350 (92% efficiency taken into account) when playing games (Only Crysis 3 pulls that much every now and again), but then I don't have to factor in water cooling.

It's nice to have some headroom, I'd buy a power meter to be sure before shelling out on a new PSU.

450w is fine if you run at stock. Overclocking is cutting it close, I would go with at least 550W. (Assuming a good quality PSU).

I honestly don't think it would be that close, the newer Intel CPU's consume less power than mine at higher clocks, the 760 consumes less power than the 670, and mine is overvolted. The OP's PSU is good quality, the 500W recommended by Nvidia is only to compensate for the rubbish PSU's some people inevitably buy.

The ST45SF-G only makes sense for mini-ITX systems where the size of the PSU really matters. In microATX and ATX systems you can find similar quality or better units for less money, like Rosewill Capstone 450W-550W.

Since the PSU has the required PCie connectors and is good quality, you'll be fine with that wattage, provided only mild overclocking.
