Excuse me for posting yet another topic on a power supply. I am in the market for one.
I have a 350W Fortron.

The reason for being in the market is that I want to make sure that my PSU is not limiting the performance of my rig.

I saw this special on Newegg.

Does anyone have this?
Is it quiet?
Is it stable?
Is CoolMax a good brand for PSU?

Thanks,

Navid

I also have the 400W verison

It is very quiet on low setting, but still loud enough to hear within one meter

It has been in a friends system for 6months no problems. He OCs btw too

I dont consider it generic, but not super high quality either. it does look very nice.

hope that helps

Like the others I have the 400W version and it works great for my system.

XP-M2400@2500mhz
2x512mb Mushkin Level II PC3500
160Gig Seagate Drive
Liteon DVD Burner
Radeon 9600Pro
Leadtek TV tuner
one case fan

Not a heavy load but my 300watt Enlight and 300W Antec just couldn't hold it stable above 2450mhz. it also allowed my Mushkin to get a bit higher at 2-3-3-10

The 120mm fan is very quiet on auto and low, I've been eyeballin that 450watt at only $10.00 more than what I paid for the 400w version.
