45 beep post error code

i have a supermicro pIIIdme dual p3 intel i840 motherboard that decided to up and die today for no reason... i hadn't even messed with it (which is odd.) it gives me 44 short beeps followed by 1 long beep. the only thing the book gives on beep messages is up to 10 beeps.. 45 is a little out of the question. i don't know if anyone can help, but... i've tried emailing supermicro tech support, but they haven't responded yet (i guess they will eventually.) i've taken the board down to everything, but the cpu and ram, and i still get the same beep code, regardless of any jumper settings i use. i am somewhat technically inclined, so i've done a fair job of troubleshooting. i've tried different ram/cpus/video cards.. different cmos batteries.. tested all teh previous components in working systems and they are good. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
