43" Toshiba HDTV 43H71 - $1199 at Fry's

As someone who has worked in audio/video for 10 years, let me tell you this is a great deal.

Toshiba has one of the best pictures and this is an incredible price - $500 less than other places I've seen.

This was in yesterday's Dallas paper with an add that said 43" Toshiba - Special Price

Crap. It's not widescreen.

I'd have considered getting it had it been widescreen.

No HD tuner. I have a similar model, the Toshiba 43HX71 (only differences being dark grey instead of black, a better glare screen, and a different remote). Awesome picture!

Yes I've had mine for 2 days now and the picture is unbelievable for a projection TV

now I need to find deals for an HD DirecTV receiver....
