42" TV recommendations

I am looking for a good value 42" TV. If you can convince me, I would maybe spend up to $700. I have seen a lot of friends 120Hz TVs with motion crap, and I don't love the look. Maybe with the right source it would be good, but when it stutters, it is really bad. So if the TV has it, I would need the option to shut it off. I don't think I care about 3D, and definitely not if it is active, passive only. What I do like, is the aesthetic look of a thin bezel (probably the worst thing to look for in a TV :) ). Two that stand out to me that I have seen in person are the Panasonic Viera, and an LG (6200 series I think).

I am perfectly fine skipping fancy features and buying a cheaper TV as well. I will not notice all the things that the home theater snobs care about (accurate colors, contrast, deep blacks etc).

Thanks!

your wants are kind of all over the place :p

seems to me you should just go to walmart and get the cheapest tv that is the most asthetically pleasing to you since you don't really care about the picture or any other features.

Haha, fair enough. I also want it to come with a pony, some hookers, and a side of blow.

Are there any other nice looking midrange TVs out there similar to the Viera?
