i went in store

was labeled on shelf as 799 after rebate. talked to manager. claimed that the price online already reflected the rebate, then said there was an email coupon needed to get the deal instore. basically they were very confused. got them to charge 799 at checkout, mailing in the rebate soon.

other stuff - box and manual lists 1024x768 as resolution. no coax in / tuner either. will need set top box or vcr or something. so far, so good, havent really tested too much with it yet

A lot of older plasmas they have marked down can only handle 480p, so it is a good idea to double check the resolution, and this one is nice deal.

You have no reason to be talking in a thread about Plasma TV's if you don't have a freaking clue what you are talking about. Quit spreading uneducated BS.

Talked to the store in Tustin. There is a $100 in store coupon, and another $100 coupon available through an email blast that MC did. That coupon was good through 4/15.
Has anyone been able to get them to honor it past that date?

I got the store to give me the 799 in store price, but I ended up going to costco and buying an LCD Vizio instead.
