40x media for Plextor QUESTION Help!! **

I was wondering what CDR media yall use to burn your disks. I was also wondering how long it takes to burn. I use the FUJU 24x and it takes like 5 min and 30 secs. So I know something is wrong. TDK media takes 4 min. What media should I use for 40x?

Data or Audio, i know that 40x plextor is limited to 24x audio

I just got a 40X Plextor as well. Unfortunately, I believe that no 40X media is available.

Plextor sells some 40X certified media, but it is ridiculously pricey.

You shoulda saved $40-$50 and went with the awesome Lite-On 40/12/48. It's unbeatable. I haven't had a lick of trouble burning the generic 16X "crap" at 40X. 😀
