40X CD-RW $20.14 @ OM YMMV

Not sure if this is everywhere, but i was at OM (Sioux Falls, SD) today and they moved all the clearance stuff up to the front of the store, and i saw this.

I/O Magic 40x12x48 CDRW for $69 - $50 IR = $19 After tax: $20.14

Has: One IDE cable (only one conector ugg!), Nero Express, One CD-R


I got one, they had 2 or 3 left after that. Dont really have a use for it... but what the heck! My 5th burner.

I was at OM (San Dimas, CA) as well and it actually says $70 - $50MIR = $20 on the shelf tag. It was at its usual location.

Yeah, thats what it said. On the register it rings up as $69-50

is it MIR (Mail In Rebate) or IR (Instant Rebate)? If it's MIR I'll pass. If it's IR I'm on it.

The OM near me is pitiful as far as clearanced items are concerned. Right now they have some 16x burners clearanced at $69. The manager there is a fumb duck as well.

Glad to hear that somebody is able to score some deals.

I walked by a pile of clearance "junk" at my local OM in VA (is it really a clearance if regular price is 26.99 and the mark down is 24.99?). I then saw a table of weekly deals(from a single page flyer taped to the table) and lo and behold a stack of 48x burners with smart burn for $19.
