Hi,
quick question... I hear that the more stuff per platter the faster the drives because the less amount the heads have to "move" to read/write... is this true, and to what extent?
eg. how much faster would a wester digital 200GB drive of the SE series compared to a 40GB of the SE series?
I only need 40GBs in my Raid 1 but was just curious as to the extra speed and if it was substantial.
thnx.
