AMD x2 5200+
ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe
Patriot 2x2GB ddr2-800 5-5-5-12

HT = 2x, DDR2 = 400, CPU = 315, Mutli = 9x

i think these are the only parts necessary to mention. only settings i've changed are HT, CPU MHz, DDR2 type, and the Multiplier. all else are set at auto. I cant imaging how these settings are = 4095MHz. can someone please explain, and would upping the voltage from auto make a difference in this reading? i'm trying to find the max cpu frequency, not sure if this is the right way to start an overclock.

CPUz gets confused when you lower the multi, its mulltipying by the stock multi 315x13=4095

Your really running 315x9=2835, ignore CPUz

its not cpu-z. its the bios. i'm not booting in to windows yet, just trying to find the max cpu speed before it stops posting. ^_^

is that the right way to go about it? lol
