i have an old hewlett packard( real old, 75mhz) , i used a reinstall cd( special cd, and formatted old stuff) and it said " Windows needs vmm32.vxd to run" , I got that copied, now it says it needs MS Dos 8.0 to run.... any clue with what is up?

what are you trying to install? win3.11/95/98?

Isn't MS DOS 8.0 the most recent version? I only thought it came with Win ME... At 75mhz, you definately can't install WinMe (without the <150mhz crack), and '95 and 98 will be crazy slow.
