This is 240W combined and all lines seem to be sufficient. The fan design is preferable as well.
Compare to Powmax 500W which has only 10W more on combined.

I have no idea how good this PSU is. Anybody heard of A+ before?
Check yourself.

I have this PS. It's rock solid. Powering six IDE drives, a GF3TI200 and an XP 1800+ without any problem. Good deal.

I really don't know if this is A1, check the manufacturer:

Check the A+GPB manufacturer.

What is good is that dealsonic ratings are fine so I don't see much risk of getting scammed. They also have aluminum PowMax 500 for $72 and Codegen 300 for $15 and some no name brand 400W for $16. Of course Powmax 500 is not to be compared with Antec 550 or similar top brands. You can also buy the same, no aluminum, for $47 at compgeeks.

If you want to spend $80 for Antec True Power 430W, you can as well spend $94 for Antec True Power 550W at buy.com, free shipping. That monster makes more than 300W combined with separate circuits. Design is as careful as Enermax.
That would be a good investment in the stability of your PC.

Hmm...gives me an idea... to modify my $13. Delta power supply from Directron by adding a rear fan...what do ya think?? might provide better cooling.

Yes, that sounds fine but you will have to drill and better be careful not to damage something.

Anybody notice that this says "******with 24-pin connector to support Intel Dual CPU Server Motherboard******" on the specs besides me? Question would be does it have a standard 20-pin connector or not? I don't think so if the above is correct.

Apparently it does. These are standard PSUs with additional connectors.
Check their web site, linked above.

Yes, it comes with the standard 20-pin connector, and an extra 4-pin connector for the p4 dual-processor motherboard.

hmm... I don't really know much about power supplies. I know a 400watt PSU should handle pretty much anything right? Do I need something this powerful though?

I want to run an Athlon XP 1800 system, with 2 hard drives, a cdrw, zip, floppy, Radeon 7500 vid card, and a couple of case fans. Would I be okay just getting a 300watt PSU?

This PSU comes with 2 fans and 240W on combined. I don't know much about this particular PSU but it sounds impressive.
Lines are OK though I would like a little more on 3.3 V.

I don't know anything about Linkworld PSU except that those PSUs are coming regularly with their cases. They come with one fan only. They might be just good enough but I seriously doubt they are anything but a low end power supply.

Not all PSUs are created equal, if you buy 300W Sparkle you'll have a PSU that is better than the most low end 400W PSUs.
