Does anyone think the Geforce 2 GTS video is better quality (just browsing and stuff.. NO GAMES.. its a server box) than the 400sc onboard video? Isn't there a problem with AGP voltage on old video cards on the i875 chipset?

Geforce 2 will work fine the voltage problem refers to old AGP 1x and some 2x cards.

As for your question the Geforce 2 should be better and more efficient memory wise.

No all Geforce 2's are 2x and i think that the GTS Ultra Ti and even the MX's IIRC are 4x.

you are spot on.. it is a 4x card.. so now the question becomes if the video quality (refreshing and desktop etc) will improve over the onboard 400sc video... I see some pages take a good deals longer than they should to come up on that box.

Well it depends on how that board gets the memory. Is it just shared... if it is than it will be a lot slower and it will eat up you RAM.

The Geforce will be a much better card from what i can tell. IQ and performance wise.

I have the 400SC. It does not have onboard video, it comes with an ATI 8MB Rage II+ PCI video card. So there is no video ram sharing.
