Mystery Diagnosis profiled a skinny woman who suddenly developed a hormone problem that caused too much cortisol to be release, and she gained 100 lbs in 6-12 months. All the while she excercised frantically and ate salads etc. to attempt to control her weight but nothing worked.

WOW, her parents should go to jail and she should be sent to foster care unless there is some proof that this is a serious glandular issue. Even if it is, that doesn't mean you HAVE to be fat, you can still keep from gaining weight if you contol your diet, her parents are porbably poor and couldn't afford a doctor to help deal with it, but honestly, at that weight she will not live to be 20. IF it is a hormone problem then there has to b be some drug to at least reduce the effect somewhat, if its her parents then they are honestly as bad as murderers imo, they are litterally taking decades off her life.

Alot of the times when you see these fat kid stories the parents are like, "I have no choice he/she keeps asking for more food, and I just can't stand to here them cry". That is honestly the most cowardly thing to say ever, to kill your kid because you don't want to hear them @#$ cry! I complained about food when I was a kid, I didn't want to eat the d@mn vegtables, I wanted more ice cream, and my parents told my to !@#@! bad, eat the vegtables or don't eat at all.

Uhh... glandular issues can't make weight just come out of nowhere and pile up.

A 200lb 6 year old should have set off alarms somewhere and put her under intense watch... there is NO excuse for tacking on an extra 100 in a year.
