4000+ San Diego with K8N Neo4 Platinum?

I'm looking to upgrade my 3000+ 64 Venice with another processor. Newegg has the 4000+ San Diego for $79.99, which seems like a good price. Anyone have experience with this chip, or this chip with the K8N Neo4 as a combo? Also, I'm unsure if my board will even support this chip, the MSI site states this on their website:

? Supports up to 3500+, 3800+ Athlon 64 FX 53, or higher CPU

Is it safe to assume that the K8N Neo4 will support this chip? "or higher" seems kinda vauge.

🙂I have the K8N Neo4-F and I had the 3000+ Winchester. I upgraded to the 4000+ from NewEgg and used the stock cooler. Runs great. Overclock with Core Center to 2.664 with out a hiccup. Temps still in 28-35C range. Your board will run the 4000+ with no problem. I do have the latest BIOS update available. Good Luck.
