4000+ or 3800+?

Does the extra 512K of cache make that big a difference? No overclocking for me, I don't want to fry all my shiny components. I just wanna run all the staples (DOOM 3, FarCry, etc.). My (projected) specs

ASPIRE X-Navigator
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum
EVGA (any problems with them?) GeForce 6800GT (I decide to lose the SLI 6600GTs, they cost more, perform a bit worse, and make me wait for nForce 4)
Corsair XMS TWINX-1024x3200XLPT 2-2-2-5 RAM (2x512)
Seagate 160 GB 7200RPM
NEC ND-3500A DVD Burner
Thermaltake Venus 12 Heatsink/Fan

I currently have an EVGA 6800 GT and it runs great. A little hot, but great.

if you're not going to overclock why do you need Corsair XMS memory? spend your money elsewhere

Have you read the 4000+ article under the "CPU/Chipsets" tab? It seems to answer your question since it includes the 3800+ as well.
