400 mhz bus Bartons

The Inquirer posted this today.

What do you think? True, False, hype?
What MB or chip sets will support it? Nforce2 could maybe seen OC's that high sometimes.
A: I was going to up grade in a week or 2.
2: now I think I might wait.
D: Why I bought the Abit Kt100 before the 133mhz bus so not a lot of upgrade possibilities because Athlons went PR and 133.
So now I feel I'm in the same boat buy a 166 aka 333 and killed off because no up grade path next year.
Because new chips will be 200/400. Anyway it's still tempting...
😎

Yes I'm sure it'll be true eventually and the I believe the latest SIS chipset will/does , officially the new VIA 400a will, and the NForce 2 does support 200FSB ...so we'll see what ALi does or they may just wait for Hammer Time and pass

if the barton is getting 400.... will the A64? At this rate, I'm just going to put some money into the highest interest bearing account I can find and see whats the best performance in October!

may heh
via's kt400a better support 400mhz fsb geez even if they have to postpone it till may unless they wanna just release a new chipset a month after it
