What's going on here? One minute, I was browsing the forums, the next minute, I get an error 400 bad request.

Last time this happened, I had to clear my anandtech.com cookies and log in again.

Can anyone give me an explanation why this is happening?

Edit: Was I accidentally IP-banned or something? I can't see why that would be happening, unless someone has hacked my account.

Edit: Is this happening to anyone else on this forum, or just me?

couldn't this be addressed in the other 200 or so threads created about this issue over the last 2 weeks?

Are there more threads specifically about "error 400", and having to re-login? Or just posts about the forum going down randomly? Because this wasn't the forum going down, it was actively rejecting my page requests for some reason.

Edit:I forgot, I did start a thread about this last week, the first time it happened. It seems the solution was posted in that thread.

It's a relief that I probably wasn't hacked, only that the browser keeps accumulating cookie data for some reason, and eventually, it gets too big for the web server to handle. Thus explaining why it happens on my main desktop, and not so much on my other machines that don't get used as much.
