Seems like a good deal, I just gave $17,99 after shipping for one a week ago. Not sure on the quality.

I've made several orders with them, and it does take a while to get, but i've never had any problems except once. The sent me the wrong thing, I emailed them with a picture and sku of what I recieved and the told me to keep it and sent me the right item. Not really a problem.

Meritline carries the same item for a similar price. I've gotten them for as little as $3.99 on sale.

I'm not getting that warm fuzzy feeling about this order. :\
Received both items I ordered - in two separate mailings. Quality looks just fine -- none of the poor soldering commented on elsewhere. The IDE/SATA adapter has no data sheet, but works as it should -- and is self explanatory to use. I am a little disappointed that a high speed Western Digital 640AS that benchmarks at 95.5 Mhz in HDTach when plugged into a motherboard SATA connector benchmarks at only 55 MHz through this adapter. I will keep the adapter to use on an archive drive when I run out of IDE drives for that purpose.
I don't see how they can sell and ship anything for the price they do.
But they are a reliable source for very low cost items.

IMHO, as far as that SATA to IDE converter goes... Well, it works OK but it's not something I'd use on a consistent basis. Maybe for a one time file transfer in an emergency but it would be very suspect to me for long term use.
