40+ People rob convenience store

They're getting bold.

And these stories are getting old. It's happening so often now, I don't know why it's worth posting here.

I didn't even need to click the link. I've seen many examples of these in the last 6 months. Dumbass kids organize it, sometimes through social media, and usually get busted after-the-fact.

Really? This is the first one like this I've ever seen or heard about

They are just savvy shoppers.

Yeah they know how to spot a "deal". As someone who worked in a convenience store for 4 years though this kind of thing is scary to look at. Luckily there were no weapons or violence but that could easily be different the next time.

This is natural in a society where self-defence and the ability to do so are chastised. Of course, one store owner with a gun might not scare away 50 bastards if any of them are carrying as well, but it has to start somewhere. That, or let the police actually shoot such mobs on sight.

The problem is that if they aren't threatening the owner, I don't believe they can legally be shot. Look at the pharmacist thread.

The pharmacist only got in trouble because he killed the one guy twenty minutes after he had already been shot. Had he unloaded the entire gun within the first several seconds he'd be free and heralded.

EDIT: But of course, this is Canada, where you are likely correct.
