I have a fully adjustable model, it's quite overrated for the price. But if you crave a HM Aeron, this is a good deal.

I never herd of these expensive chairs. Are they made out of the tempur-pedic like material or something?

They're made out of Pellicle mesh material that contort to your body. Excellent for the back.

I'm sitting on one right now at work. They're very comfortable and the mesh material allows you to breathe. Nice in this hot weather, or if your colleagues don't like the AC down too low.

That drafting stool sounds like a good deal if it's the one I'm thinking about (Humanscale).

When they say "slightly used" they mean there is usually a spot on the seat from the previous owner when they found out their dot-com dreams were in the toilet and they were fired.

I bought an Aeron chair for home use after using one at work for a while. It's been worth every penny, I used to go through those $99 leather manager chairs from office stores every 2 years (they'd start hurting my back), I've used my Aeron for 3 years now with no problems.

Warning: don't pass gas in this chair! My cubicle neighbor does all the time and I swear the web mesh amplifies the sound. :Q

Not to mention does nothing for suffocating the smell. A normal chair you can hold some of that in, but not on this one. and it never fails you let one rip and someone walks in

i'll have to check my invoice at home
if i can remember correctly, i called a few of their authorized distributors right on the hm website and found one, he originally quoted me a price of $725 and then i told him that i found the chair for $640 shipped and he agreed

Those are some cool looking chairs but isnt there a British company that makes chairs that are even more expensive if not as expensive? Its a type of chair i see in movies all the time. The show 24, when the president meets with his general on military matters and they are sitting on that unique blue chair. I read those are some of the best stuff too but i cant seem to find them online again.

EDIT: Teknion has some very cooool looking stuff (not only chairs). I'd love to make my house look clean like that. Simple and modern looking designs using metal.

Supposedly the PostureFit upgrade is a LOT better than the adjustable lumbar support-they don't even use that one on the new chairs anymore. I'm upgrading mine to the PostureFit in a couple weeks.

Bah....Maker's Mark fixes my back problems and helps me forget about my family. I don't need a comfy expensive chair to sit in. I'd rather sit in a pile of my own feces....I don't have to. I just want to.
